Nothing has officially introduced its new flagship wireless earbuds, the Ear (3).
For design, the Ear (3) keeps the brand’s transparent look, but adds metal components and is certified with IP54 for dust and water resistance.
The case is made from 100% recycled aluminum.
Audio is handled by 12mm dynamic drivers featuring a new diaphragm design, designed to enhance bass and treble. Each earbud has three microphones plus a bone-conduction Voice Pick-up Unit for clearer calls.
Apart from that, adaptive noise cancellation can reduce sound by up to 45 dB with AI-based suppression for wind and background noise.
It also features a Super Mic system, which uses a dual-microphone array built into the charging case.
This setup can filter ambient noise up to 95 dB and isolate the user’s voice during calls. It also allows recording voice notes directly from the case, with transcription handled in the Essential Space app.
Battery life is listed at up to 10 hours per earbud (ANC off) or 38 hours with the case that supports both USB-C and wireless charging. According to Nothing, a 10-minute charge can give up to 10 hours of playback.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC codec support, and a low-latency gaming mode under 120 ms.
The Nothing Ear (3) is priced at EUR 179 (around PHP 12,099). It is now available in the US, UK, and Europe.
