What Makes the vivo X300 Stand Out in 2025?

vivo has officially launched its new flagship device in the local market, the vivo X300.

In case you didn’t know, the brand places a strong focus on imaging, offering upgraded hardware and ZEISS-supported features designed to improve clarity, low-light performance, and portrait quality.

With that said, let’s talk about its cameras.

vivo X300 Camera Specs

The X300 Pro features a 200MP main camera with ZEISS T* coating and optical stabilization, making it easier to capture sharp, detailed shots even in low light.

It also comes with a 50MP ZEISS APO telephoto lens with a periscope design and stabilization, keeping zoomed-in subjects clear.

For wider scenes, there’s a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus and a corrected 109° field of view.

The main camera captures subjects without heavy processing.

We can see that faces look slightly softened, but not enough to hide important details. Textures stay clear, and nothing looks overly retouched.

Indoor shots with bright windows keep exposure steady, and shadow details still visible. Skin tones look consistent even in low light and outdoors.

When it comes to the bokeh effect, the background separation is good, and the blur effect looks natural. Edge detection is accurate, giving portraits a clean look.

Contrast is moderate. Shadows aren’t too dark, and highlights stay controlled.

Overall, the camera maintains detail in both bright and dark areas without sudden exposure shifts.

One Tap Feature

As you may already know, cross-device file sharing between Android and iOS has always been a hassle.

But after taking some sample photos with the vivo X300, we tried sending them to an iPhone right away. We wanted others to have the original-quality images, since posting them on social media often reduces clarity.

At first, the process seemed confusing, but the on-screen instructions made it much easier. Once you understand the steps, it’s actually quite simple.

Before starting, the iPhone needs the EasyShare app installed, and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC should all be turned on.

On the vivo phone, we selected the photos we wanted to send and tapped Share. An important step is placing the iPhone near the NFC area of the vivo device.

The iPhone automatically notifies you. After tapping Open and then Join, the files transfer from the vivo phone to the iPhone.

This feature is available on devices running OriginOS 6 and works with iPhone 12 and newer models running iOS 17 or later. Overall, using One-Tap Transfer made sharing photos fast and easy.

Now, aside from the One-Tap feature, what’s new in OriginOS 6?

vivo OriginOS 6

After using the X300 for a while, the software stands out almost as much as the hardware.

OriginOS 6 doesn’t feel like a drastic redesign, but many of the visuals and animations are noticeably cleaner.

The interface has a 3D “spatial” look that adds depth without feeling cluttered. Light, shadows, and blur effects are subtle, which is easier on the eyes in our opinion.

Performance-wise, the X300 is smooth even with multiple apps running. Scrolling feels stable too.

Two features worth highlighting are Bionic Brightness, which adjusts the screen to mimic natural light, it turns brighter outdoors and softer at night.

Also, the Sleep Comfort Mode is very helpful in my experience, as it reduces blue light for sleep.

Overall, the vivo X300 delivers flagship-level hardware, a commendable camera setup, and strong performance that lives up to its premium positioning.

The official price of the vivo X300 in the Philippines is PHP67,999, while the pro variant is priced at PHP77,999. Accessories for the vivo X300 Pro include the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit at PHP12,999 and the PGYTECH Imaging Grip Kit at PHP7,999.

The series is available online through the vivo e-store and Shopee
