
Motorola is entering the ultra-thin smartphone market with the upcoming edge 70, which will debut globally on November 5 in Europe. It will be introduced as the moto X70 Air in China later this October.
The motorola edge 70 is expected to be under 6mm thin, which is a lot slimmer compared to its predecessor’s 8.25mm thickness.
The company has confirmed that it will feature a 4800mAh battery with 68W fast charging that promises up to 12 hours of battery life from 15 minutes of charging.
It is also confirmed to incorporate IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification for military-grade durability.

Meanwhile, the edge 70 is rumored to sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K 10-bit pOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 4500 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
It is expected to be powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
For optics, it will reportedly be equipped with a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter at the back, while a 50MP selfie camera is at the front.
Other leaked specs include stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Android 16 OS.
