Both smartphones form the lineup sport a 6.67-inch 2K 12-bit AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate, DC Dimming, up to 3200 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
The vanilla REDMI K80 is being powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno 750 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and a large 6550mAh battery capacity with 90W fast charging.
Meanwhile, the REDMI K80 Pro boasts the latest 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core chipset with Adreno 830 GPU, 12nm D1 dedicated graphics chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It packs a smaller 6,000mAh battery but with a faster 120W charging and an additional 50W wireless charging.
For optics, both smartphones are equipped with a 50MP 1/ 1.55″ Light Fusion 800 main sensor with OIS + EIS and a 20MP OmniVision OV20B40 sensor for the selfie camera. The vanilla only gets an additional 8MP ultra-wide shooter, while the Pro version gets a 32MP Samsung S5KKD1 120-degrees ultra-wide shooter and a 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 floating telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom.
Other specs of the smartphones include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Rage Engine 4.0, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0.
