Intel Announces New Arc G-Series for Handheld PCs

Intel has announced its new Arc G-Series processors for handheld gaming devices.

The lineup includes the Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme processors. These chips are based on Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 architecture and are intended for next-generation handheld gaming PCs.

The platform supports up to Xe3-based integrated graphics with features such as ray tracing and AI upscaling through XeSS 3.

XeSS 3 includes three main features:

  • AI-based upscaling
  • Multi-frame generation
  • Reduced input latency

Other features include a console-style full-screen gaming mode for Windows 11 and support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thunderbolt 4.

Intel also confirmed that early handheld devices using the Arc G-Series will arrive from OEM partners starting June 2026, with wider availability expected later in the year.
