TECNO has unveiled a new budget smartphone that highlights durability, the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro.
The TECNO SPARK 50 Pro boasts a dual IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and can handle high‑pressure water jets and extreme environmental conditions. It also comes with SGS Five‑Star Premium Drop Resistance for accidental drops and impacts.
Aside from durability, the device also focuses on long-term operational efficiency. It packs two battery configurations depending on region availability: a 5,600mAh dual‑cell model and a 6,000mAh single‑cell version. Both configurations support 60W Super Charge wired charging with distinct software modes depending on the scenario. TECNO promises that they will maintain over 80% of their original capacity even after six years under standard usage conditions.
The device sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering it inside is the 6nm MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate 4G octa-core processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM (up to 24GB Dynamic RAM) and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Camera-wise, it is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 1/1.95″ main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP selfie camera.
Other features include DTS stereo speakers, HiOS 16 based on Android 16, and TECNO AI Suite (Ella AI Agent, AI writing, AI Health Assistant, and AI Noise Cancellation during calls). Colors available are Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Midnight Blue, Dynamic Orange, and Cloud White.
