OPPO is gearing up to unveil the next version of its operating system, ColorOS 16, at the annual OPPO Developer Conference (ODC) on October 15 in Shenzhen, China.
The event will spotlight the new features of ColorOS 16 while also diving into OPPO’s broader AI strategy and future plans.
According to OPPO China’s website, the update may introduce design elements inspired by Apple’s iOS 26.

Alongside the keynote, the conference will feature ten sub-forums, six exhibition areas, and an “inspirational street” for developers and visitors.

The first smartphones to ship with ColorOS 16 will be the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, debuting in China on October 16. A global rollout has yet to be confirmed, with more details expected after the launch.
