
vivo officially introduces its first mixed reality (MR) headset, the vivo Vision Discovery Edition, marking its entry into the spatial computing sector.
The headset, developed over four years, weighs 398g and is 26% smaller than the industry average.

It features adjustable light seals and padding for comfort. It runs on OriginOS Vision, offering gesture-based and eye-tracking controls. The device uses dual Micro-OLED displays with 8K binocular resolution, 94% DCI-P3 coverage, and color calibration to reduce visual discomfort.
Inside, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 platform, the headset supports entertainment, gaming, and productivity applications.
It can project a virtual 120-inch theater screen and provide panoramic viewing for live sports and other content.

vivo has not yet announced pricing or availability details for the Vision Discovery Edition.
