Visa has announced that eligible Visa debit and credit cardholders in the Philippines can now use Apple Pay.
Apple users can make contactless payments using their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac at stores, in apps, and on supported websites.
Payments are authenticated using Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode, while card information is protected through a unique encrypted Device Account Number instead of storing the actual card number on the device.

How to Use Apple Pay?
To use Apple Pay, users can open the Wallet app on their iPhone, tap the “+” button, and follow the instructions to add an eligible Visa card. Once the card is added, it can also be used on other supported Apple devices linked to the same account.
Eligible Visa cardholders can now access the service through participating banks like Metrobank, Chinabank, UnionBank, and GoTyme.
