
Along with the REDMI K Pad, Xiaomi sub-brand REDMI also launched the REDMI K80 Ultra in China. It is one of the top-end smartphones in the REDMI K80 Series.
The REDMI K80 Ultra sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 2560Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Xiaomi Shield Glass protection.
For design, it adopts a four-curved wrapped metal middle frame, a flagship fiberglass back panel, and a metal camera Deco design.
Powering the smartphone is the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ octa-core processor with Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.1 internal storage, and a large 7410mAh battery capacity with 100W fast charging. There’s also an independent Discrete Graphics D2 chip for the display and gaming.
Keeping the heat in check is a 3D Ice Cycle Cold Pump and a 6500mm² ultra-large 3D concave-convex platform.
Camera-wise, the REDMI K80 Ultra boasts a 1/1.55″ 50MP OV Light Fusion 800 main camera with OIS and an 8MP 119-degree FoV ultra-wide shooter. Upfront is a 20MP selfie camera.
Other specs include a closed-loop driver IC 0916C motor and 1115 coaxial symmetrical dual speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
