HUAWEI has officially introduced the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, its latest smartwatch focused on running and endurance sports.
The new model features a 3D floating antenna design aimed at improving GPS accuracy.
It also comes with an upgraded intelligent positioning algorithm that continues to calculate distance and route even when the signal is temporarily lost, helping ensure more consistent tracking during runs.
HUAWEI added a new intelligent marathon mode that provides structured race support and real-time data, designed to assist runners throughout training and competition.
The watch is positioned for both professional athletes and amateur runners who want detailed performance insights and training support.
The WATCH GT Runner 2 follows the original WATCH GT Runner, which was launched in 2021.
According to HUAWEI, the updated version builds on five years of development in the professional running watch category.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 is scheduled to launch in the Philippines this April. Pricing and full local specifications have not yet been announced. Stay tuned!
