X Introduces New “Custom Timelines” Feature

X is rolling out a new feature called Custom Timelines, as announced by Head of Product Nikita Bier.

This feature allows you to pin a specific topic to your home tab. With support for over 75 topics, you can dive deep into your favorite niche on X.

From its name, the upcoming feature allows users to pin specific topics directly to their Home tab.

Custom Timelines support more than 75 topics, letting users follow and browse content focused on areas like AI, art, photography, and other interests.

Each timeline is personalized using X’s recommendation system combined with insights from Grok, which analyzes posts and user behavior.

The company aims to improve topic-based discovery, especially for subjects users already interact with.

In addition, X is introducing a “snooze topics” option, which lets users temporarily remove selected topics from their feed.

Custom Timelines Rollout

Early access is currently available to Premium subscribers on iOS, with Android support planned soon.

A similar rollout for topic snoozing is also available for Premium users on iOS and the web.
