TECNO officially announced that it will launch the POVA Slim 5G this September.
According to TECNO, this is the “world’s slimmest smartphone,” as it features a 5.75mm frame.
A teaser image on TECNO India suggests the phone is based on a concept first shown at MWC 2025. However, full specifications and features are still under wraps.
As for the design, it comes with a bar-style rear camera module housing two cameras, an LED flash, and a notification light strip. TECNO is also highlighting what it calls a “Dynamic Mood Light Design,” where lights built into the camera module can glow for notifications and effects.
On the other hand, TECNO launches the POVA 7 Ultra 5G in the Philippines. It packs a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh and up to 4,500 nits brightness.
It has a 108MP + 8MP rear camera, 13MP selfie cam, and runs on a Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage (expandable to 1TB). Powering it is a 6,000mAh battery with 70W wired and 30W wireless charging, running Android 15 with HiOS 15.
