HONOR has announced the Watch GS 5 in China, launching this January.
However, display specifications have not been officially confirmed, though the design suggests a similar setup to previous GS watches, which used a 1.43-inch AMOLED display.
What’s new is that the HONOR GS 5 includes a sudden cardiac arrest screening feature, which it describes as an industry first. The function analyzes heart rhythm data to detect potential risks.
The watch also offers a cardiovascular risk assessment feature that monitors long-term heart health trends and provides early warnings when needed. These features are intended for health awareness and are not medical diagnostics.

Other standard health features include continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, stress monitoring, and sleep tracking.
The Watch GS 5 also supports daily smart features such as reminders for flights, high-speed trains, and taxi services.

Battery-wise, it is rated at up to 23 days in Bluetooth mode.
The HONOR Watch GS 5 will launch on January 19. However, pricing for the Watch GS 5 has not been announced. Stay tuned for more details.
