Samsung has quietly unveiled an entry-level smartphone in Europe, the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Its display also supports 1,100 nits peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Inside is Samsung’s Exynos 1330 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card). It also packs a 5,000mAh battery capacity with 25W wired charging support.
Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera.
Other features include an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, and One UI 7 based on Android 15.
Available colors are Black, Blue, and Gray.
The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is priced at EUR 239 (~PHP 15,819) and is listed via Samsung Ireland’s website.
