Xiaomi officially launches the REDMI 17 Series in the Philippines today, introducing the REDMI 17 5G and REDMI 17 4G.
Both models feature a 6.9-inch display with a 1600 × 720 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
For photography, they come with a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Both support video recording at up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
The REDMI 17 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor and supports 5G connectivity, while the REDMI 17 4G uses the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra chipset and supports 4G LTE.
Memory options include 4GB or 6GB of RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of storage. Both models also support microSD expansion of up to 2TB.
The REDMI 17 Series is equipped with a 7,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Both smartphones run Xiaomi HyperOS 3.
REDMI 17 Series Price and Availability
The REDMI 17 4G with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage has a suggested retail price (SRP) of PHP12,999, while the REDMI 17 5G with the same memory configuration costs PHP14,999.
Early bird pricing brings the REDMI 17 4G down to PHP11,999 and the REDMI 17 5G to PHP13,999.
