Apple has introduced the AirPods 5, its latest open-ear wireless earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
According to Apple, the AirPods 5 can remove up to 50% more external noise compared to the AirPods 4 with ANC. They also feature Transparency mode, Adaptive Audio, and Conversation Awareness.
The AirPods 5 use a new multiport acoustic architecture and next-generation Adaptive EQ.
Users can respond to Siri using head gestures. The earbuds also have improved dust, sweat, and water resistance.
The AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case adds a force sensor with volume swipe controls on the stem, as well as longer battery life.
It offers up to five hours of playback with ANC on a single charge and up to 22 hours with ANC using the charging case.
The wireless charging case supports Apple Watch chargers, Qi-compatible chargers, and USB-C.
Both AirPods 5 models are coming soon to the Philippines. Apple currently says to check back later for availability.
