GCash Card Now Has 0% Forex Fee Again

GCash has restored its 0% foreign exchange (forex) fee for GCash Card transactions.

Previously, users noticed that GCash started adding a 0.5% to 0.76% fee on foreign transactions on June 30, 2026.

Now, with the 0% forex fee restored, GCash Card users can make foreign-currency payments without an additional forex fee from GCash.

The card can be used for payments at Visa-accepting merchants worldwide, including purchases for flights, hotels, food, shopping, activities, eSIMs, and other travel-related services.

The GCash Card also supports international ATM withdrawals, allowing users to withdraw local currency while abroad. Transactions are reflected in the GCash app, where users can view the peso conversion and track their spending.

GCash previously offered 0% forex fees before the June 2026 change. The fee has now returned to 0% as of August 14.
