TECNO has unveiled a new smartphone in India, the TECNO SPARK 50 5G.

The TECNO SPARK 50 5G sports an aviation-grade aluminum build with a horizontal pill-shaped camera island at the back. Additional durability features include MIL-STD-810H certification and IP64 PRO rating for dust and water resistance. It is available in Fantasy Purple, Mint Green, Ink Black, and Champagne Gold colors.
At the front, it comes with a 6.78-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1576) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 560 nits brightness.
Powering the device inside is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 octa-core processor with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage (expandable via microSD card). It also packs a 6,500mAh battery capacity with 45W wired fast charging support.
Camera-wise, the horizontal pill-shaped camera island houses a 50MP main camera with an f/1.85 aperture and LED Flash. Upfront is an 8MP selfie camera.
Connectivity features include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
The SPARK 50 5G runs on Android 16 OS with HiOS 16 on top. Additionally, it features a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dedicated noise cancellation.


The TECNO SPARK 50 5G is priced starting at INR 16,999 (~PHP 10,863) for the 4GB + 128GB model and INR 18,999 (~PHP 12,141) for the 6GB + 128GB variant.
