
vivo has officially launched a new device in China, the vivo Y500.
The device features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (2392 x 1080), a 120Hz refresh rate, Diamond Shield glass protection, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
For cameras, the phone has a 50MP main sensor with a 2MP depth lens, while the front carries an 8MP selfie camera.

Inside, the device is powered by the Y500 is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage.
The phone’s main highlight is its 8,200mAh battery, which is about 2,000mAh higher than the previous model. Charging is handled by a 90W USB-C charger.

Out of the box, it runs in Android 15 with OriginOS 15 operating system and dual SIM support.



The vivo Y500 is now listed on vivo’s China website, priced at CNY1,399 (around PHP 11,199) for the 8GB + 128GB model and CNY 1,999 (around PHP 15,999) for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
