Changan has introduced a new vehicle in the Philippines, the all-new Changan CS35 Max.
The CS35 Max is positioned as an upgraded version of the CS35 Pro, and by upgrading, the new model comes with a 115 mm longer wheelbase.
It showcases a sportier design with red accents and 18-inch alloy wheels. Other exterior features include heated side mirrors, front and rear fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and a power tailgate.
Inside, the model comes with a digital instrument cluster, which is 7 inches for the Lite variant and 12.3 inches for the Luxe. It also has a tilt and telescopic steering column and manually adjustable front seats, with fabric upholstery for the Lite and leather for the Luxe.
Both variants are equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Additionally, the Lite uses a 4-speaker system, while the Luxe gets a 6-speaker Sony sound system.
The CS35 Max is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter Bluecore gasoline engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, delivering 180 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. It comes with five selectable driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, Race, and Smart.
For safety, it includes standard features such as ABS with EBD, stability control, hill hold and hill descent control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The Luxe variant adds a 540-degree camera system, a built-in driving recorder, adaptive cruise control, and six airbags.
The Changan CS35 Max is priced at PHP1,109,999 for the Lite version and PHP1,199,999 for the Luxe.
