Denza launched a new PHEV in the Philippines, the Denza B8.
The SUV uses a plug-in hybrid system producing up to 425kW of power and 760Nm of torque. It has a claimed combined driving range of up to 1,040 km based on the NEDC cycle. Acceleration details for 0–100 km/h were not specified.
Denza B8 is equipped with DiSus-P intelligent hydraulic suspension, offering up to 140 mm of travel. The system allows approach and departure angles of up to 34 and 35 degrees, with a maximum wading depth of 890 mm.
The vehicle also uses a cell-to-chassis (CTC) structure, integrating the battery into the chassis to improve rigidity.
According to Denza, the body is made with 96% high-strength steel, with 19% ultra-high-strength steel used in impact zones.
For off-road capability, the B8 includes front and rear mechanical differential locks (front lock available on select models), along with a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes.
Inside, the SUV offers features such as Nappa leather seats (for the 6-seater variant), soft-closing doors, and powered seat adjustments with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. It also comes with a Devialet sound system with 18 speakers and 800W output.
Safety features include a 13-airbag system and a reinforced body structure designed to improve crash protection.
The B8 supports 16 drive modes, including standard settings like Comfort, Eco, and Sport, as well as terrain-specific modes such as Snow, Sand, Mud, Rock, and Wading.
As for the pricing, the Denza B8 has a starting price of PHP 4,998,000 for the 7-seater Dynamic variant, while the 6-seater Premium version is priced at PHP 5,398,000.
