YouTube experienced a widespread outage on February 18, 2026, affecting users in several regions worldwide.
Reports began to spike at around 5:30 PM PST on February 17 (9:30 AM PHT on February 18).
According to Downdetector, more than 30,000 U.S.-based users reported issues at the peak around 5:45 PM PST (9:45 AM PHT).
The U.S. West Coast recorded the highest number of complaints. Users said they were unable to load videos on both the website and the mobile app.
The Philippines was not widely affected, though some users in other regions continued to report access issues.
As of now, YouTube’s Help page confirmed that the issue had been fixed, and service gradually returned to normal.
