Nokia Phones Ordered 16 Years Ago Finally Delivered

A shipment of Nokia mobile phones ordered in 2010 has finally reached a shop in Tripoli, Libya, which is almost 16 years later.

The delay happened after the 2011 civil war disrupted logistics, customs operations, and infrastructure, leaving the shipment stuck in a warehouse for more than a decade.

When the phones arrived in 2026, the shop owner laughed while opening the boxes. The delivery included classic button-based Nokia models, such as early music editions and premium devices.

What made the story even more ironic was that the sender and the receiver lived just a few kilometers apart.

Some even noted that the phones could now be sold as collector’s items, as vintage devices are becoming popular with younger generations.
