TECNO Mobile is gearing up to launch the SPARK 50 5G smartphone in the Philippines on May 4, 2026.
To recap, the TECNO SPARK 50 5G features a 6.78-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1576) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its display also supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 560 nits brightness.
In terms of design, it incorporates an aviation-grade aluminum build with a horizontal pill-shaped camera island at the back. Durability is backed by MIL-STD-810H certification and IP64 PRO rating for dust and water resistance.
Powering the device inside is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 octa-core processor with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM (+8GB of additional memory) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage (expandable via a microSD card). There’s also a 6,500mAh battery capacity with 45W wired fast charging support.
Camera-wise, the horizontal pill-shaped camera island houses a 50MP main camera with an f/1.85 aperture and LED Flash. Upfront is an 8MP selfie camera. Its camera can record up to 2K at 30 frames per second and comes with FlashSnap, Best Moment, Live Photo, and AI RAW Algorithm features.
Connectivity features include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
The SPARK 50 5G runs on Android 16 OS with HiOS 16 on top. It is available in Fantasy Purple, Ink Black, and Champagne Gold colors.
The TECNO SPARK 50 5G is currently listed on the brand’s official Shopee page at PHP 10,499. However, the official pricing is yet to be revealed by TECNO.
