Alongside the Xiaomi 17 lineup, the brand also launched the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro in China.
Both tablets sport an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD screen with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 3:2 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision, and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
The vanilla Pad 8 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while the Pad 8 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. They both start with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Pro variant goes up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
They also pack a 9,200mAh battery capacity with 45W fast charging for the Pad 8, while 67W fast charging for the Pad 8 Pro. Both support reverse charging.
Camera-wise, the Xiaomi Pad 8 is equipped with a 13MP main sensor at the back and an 8MP selfie camera at the front. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro comes with a 50MP main rear camera and a 32MP front sensor.
Other features of both tablets include a quad-speaker setup, 4 mics, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio with noise reduction, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.
They also support Focus Touch Pen Pro and floating keyboard accessories.
