
OPPO has launched a new entry-level smartphone in the Philippines—the OPPO A5x.
The OPPO A5x is marketed as a durable smartphone featuring a MIL-STD-810H certification and has been tested in harsh environments and conditions. It also has IP65 ratings for dust and water resistance. It integrates a 360° Armour Body that incorporates flagship-grade reinforced glass.
At the front, the device sports a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits peak brightness.
Powering it is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM ( up to 4GB RAM Expansion), up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD), and a 6000mAh battery capacity with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Camera-wise, the OPPO A5x is equipped with a 32MP main sensor and a 5MP front camera.
Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), and Bluetooth 5.1.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The OPPO A5x is now available through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok shops.
