POCO recently unveiled a new smartphone under the C85 series in India, the POCO C85x 5G.
The POCO C85x 5G sports a slightly different design compared to its C85 siblings, with its pill-shaped camera module and a new gold trim color variant.
At the front, the device comes with a 6.9-inch HD+ (1,600 x 720) panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 810 nits peak brightness, and DC dimming. It also bagged TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications.
Powering it inside is the 6nm Unisoc T8300 octa-core chipset with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS2.2 internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD). There’s also a 6,300mAh battery capacity with 15W fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging support.
Camera-wise, the C85x 5G is equipped with a 32MP main sensor and a secondary lens. Upfront is an 8MP selfie camera housed in a tear-drop notch.
Connectivity features include 5G network, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), and Bluetooth 5.4. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP52 dust and water-resistant rating.
The device runs on Android 16 OS with Xiaomi HyperOS on top. It is available in Black, Gold, and Green colorways.
The POCO C85x 5G is priced starting at INR 10,999 (~PHP 7,085) for the 4GB + 64GB model, while the 4GB + 128GB retails for INR 11,999 (~PHP 7,729).
There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
