Qualcomm has confirmed that it will unveil two new Snapdragon chips at this year’s Snapdragon Summit on September 22.
The company teased the announcement on X with the line, “When Two Changes the Game,” pointing to the launch of two new flagship chipsets.
According to rumors, the two chips are expected to be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
Previously, an alleged AnTuTu 11 benchmark showed Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship chipset scoring around 4.83 million points. The chip was identified as SM8975 and was rumored to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. However, the benchmark reportedly came from unfinished hardware, so the score may not reflect its final performance.

The upcoming chips are also rumored to use a 2nm process and next-generation Oryon CPU cores, with the Pro and non-Pro versions potentially using different Adreno GPUs.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit 2026 is scheduled for September 22 to 24 in Maui, Hawaii, where the company is expected to reveal more details about its next flagship mobile platforms.
