Google Introduces Search Profiles Feature

Google has announced a new feature called Search Profiles.

According to Google, this allows publishers and content creators to manage how they appear in Google Search.

Search Profiles provides a dedicated page where creators and publishers can showcase content from different platforms, including articles, videos, and social media posts. The profiles are designed to help users find updated information about content sources and follow their work more easily.

Users can view Search Profiles by clicking a creator’s or publisher’s info panel on Google Search, opening them from Google Discover, or using a direct link to the profile.

Eligible publishers and creators can customize their profiles with a profile photo, biography, website, social media accounts, and video platforms.

Google said creators and publishers with a sizable following on at least one major social or video platform can claim a profile.

The feature will initially be available in the United States with plans to expand Search Profiles to more publishers and creators in other regions soon.
