
OPPO recently launched the A5x in the local market, and now, they’re adding another model to the lineup, the OPPO A5.
The device is already listed on OPPO Philippines’ official website, giving us a full look at its specs and design ahead of release.
The OPPO A5 boasts a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display, supports a 90Hz refresh rate, and comes with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels. Aside from that, it can reach up to 1000 nits of brightness.
Camera-wise, the rear setup features a 50MP main sensor and 2MP monochrome lens. On the front, is a 5MP punch-hole selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 4G chipset paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. It comes in a single configuration, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage.
Moreover, it has a capacity of 6000mAh battery, which supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. For security and convenience, both fingerprint and facial recognition are supported.
Out of the box, the OPPO A5 runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. For connectivity, it supports dual SIM with 4G LTE.
As for the pricing, the OPPO A5 is priced at PHP8,999. According to its listing on online shopping apps, OPPO A5 is expected to launch on June 12, 2025. Stay tuned!
