
MediaTek has teased its upcoming Dimensity flagship chipset.
MediaTek has not yet confirmed the chipset’s official name, but reports suggest that it could be called the Dimensity 9600 Pro.
In its teaser, MediaTek highlighted improvements in efficiency, gaming, and imaging.
The upcoming chip is expected to use an advanced manufacturing process, a redesigned architecture, and DTCO co-optimization.
For gaming, MediaTek mentioned AI-enhanced graphics, an upgraded HyperEngine, and ray tracing support. The chip is also teased to support 4K video at 240fps for ultra-slow motion.
MediaTek is expected to announce more details about the chipset during its September 15 event.
