DJI has officially launched the DJI Lito 1 and Lito X1 in the Philippines. Keep reading to learn more about the brand’s new drones.

Both models have a standard takeoff weight of around 249 grams, but with accessories, the weight can reach up to around 340 grams.

The Lito X1 introduces upgrades over the Lito 1, particularly in camera, sensing, and battery options.

For imaging, the Lito X1 uses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with 48MP resolution, paired with an f/1.7 lens. The Lito 1 uses a smaller 1/2-inch sensor with the same 48MP output but a narrower f/1.8 lens and longer minimum focus distance. Both support 4K video at up to 100fps and a maximum bitrate of 130 Mbps.

The Lito X1 also adds D-Log M color support and 10-bit recording, which is not available on the Lito 1.

Flight performance is mostly similar between the two. Both can reach up to 18 m/s in Sport mode and support a maximum flight time of up to 36 minutes using the standard battery, or up to 52 minutes with the larger battery option.

However, the Lito X1 offers a slightly longer maximum flight distance at up to 21 km, compared to 20 km on the Lito 1.

In terms of sensing, both drones use omnidirectional vision systems, but the Lito X1 adds a forward-facing LiDAR sensor for improved obstacle detection. The Lito 1 relies on vision sensors and a downward infrared sensor.

The Lito X1 also includes 42GB of internal storage, while the Lito 1 does not have built-in storage.

Both models support DJI’s O4 transmission system with up to 1080p/60fps live view and a maximum transmission range of up to 15 km under ideal conditions.

Other features include a 3-axis gimbal, GPS positioning (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou), and support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The drones run on the DJI Fly app, which requires iOS 13 or Android 7 and above.
