YouTube TV has started rolling out a new feature that allows users to fully customize Multiview.
For comparison, the old Multiview only offered pre-selected channel combinations with limited sports-focused options, while the new Multiview lets users fully customize their own setup by choosing up to four channels from different content categories.
To create a custom Multiview, open a live channel on the YouTube TV app (on supported devices), access the playback controls, select Multiview, and choose “Watch in multiview.”
Go to “Your multiview,” pick up to four channels from available categories, and then confirm and wait for the system to load the custom layout.
Once created, the Multiview can also be edited by reopening the Multiview menu and selecting the option to change channels.
The YouTube Multiview feature is rolling out gradually and is not tied to a specific app update.
YouTube says availability will expand over time, so users who do not have it yet are expected to receive it later.
