More details about the upcoming OnePlus 16 have surfaced.
The device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat display with symmetrical bezels made possible by LIPO packaging technology. It is also expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.
On the back, the OnePlus 16 is said to retain the square-shaped camera module introduced on the OnePlus 15. The reports also said the phone could pack a battery of around 9,000mAh, although this has not yet been finalized.
For cameras, the OnePlus 16 is rumored to feature a 200MP main camera, along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. It may also support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The device is also rumored to be the first OnePlus smartphone to ship with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17.
According to reports, the OnePlus 16 is expected to launch in October.
For reference, the OnePlus 15 is currently available in the Philippines with a starting price of PHP 49,990. The OnePlus 16 is expected to succeed the current flagship once it is officially announced.
