Qualcomm is planning to launch its next flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, by the end of September 2025.
This news came from a recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will succeed last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and is expected to bring notable performance improvements.
According to rumors, the CPU will reach a base frequency of 4.4GHz, up from 4.32GHz in the previous model.
It will also use a second-generation self-developed CPU architecture, while the GPU cache size will increase from 12MB to 16 MB. Overall, this is expected to boost performance by around 30%.
The chip will be built using TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process, offering a 4% increase in performance and a 9% reduction in power consumption compared to the previous generation.
It will also support the new SME instruction set to improve multimedia and graphics tasks.

How about the other android phones (I.e. Samsung, Vivo, Oppo & Realme)?
These are still rumors for now, and there’s no word yet on whether the following smartphones will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 this October 2025. So take this with a grain of salt! We’ll keep you updated once we hear more. 😊
