Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest entry-level smartphone under the G series, the Motorola Moto G22.
Recently, leaks of the smartphone have surfaced online revealing most of its specs and renders. The upcoming Motorola Moto G22 smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch OLED panel with HD+ (720 x 1600) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, which has an octa-core CPU with four 1.8 GHz and four 2.3 GHz cores, and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
Based on the leaked renders, the smartphone will come with quad rear cameras and is rumored to consist of a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a pair of 2MP lenses for macro as well as depth. Upfront is a punch-hole camera design with a 16MP selfie snapper.
Other rumored specs include 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, Android 12 for OS, a fingerprint scanner on the power button, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
The launch of the Moto g22 seems imminent, but there are no official details yet as to when it will be unveiled.
