A few days after the unveiling of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Processor, Motorola‘s brand manager has confirmed that the upcoming Moto Razr foldable smartphone will be powered by the said chipset.
The teaser was posted on the brand manager’s Weibo page.
Aside from that, no other details were revealed.
To recap, the first Moto Razr arrived back in late 2019, and was then followed by the Moto Razr 5G the next year.
Meanwhile, the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC has a 10% higher CPU performance than its predecessor and also boasts a 30% improvement in power efficiency for the CPU. Similarly, the GPU runs at a 10% higher frequency while reducing power usage by 30%. Overall, the new chip promises 15% power savings in the SoC.
