Motorola has released the stable Android 15 update for the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.
The update, which is 1.77GB in size, brings improvements in connectivity, accessibility, and security.
Key features include satellite messaging for areas without network coverage, a one-tap hotspot connection for devices under the same Google account, and enhanced Bluetooth settings like checking paired devices’ battery levels.
Accessibility updates provide better font scaling, Braille Display HID support, and improved hearing device controls.
Security features include offline tracking for phones and accessories and adaptive authentication for theft prevention.
Additionally, Motorola Edge 50 Pro users can access saved passwords with biometrics and enjoy customizable emoji stickers, including AI-powered designs.
However, posts from Reddit have reported several issues with the update, including random black screen freezes, increased battery drain, and app crashes.
Camera issues persist with the Motorola Edge 50 Pro camera button failing intermittently, and there are inconsistencies with the navigation buttons, such as duplicate app windows appearing.
Bluetooth toggles are also not opening settings correctly and some features like the “circle to search” tool and Private Space are not working properly.
Motorola has not yet addressed these issues, but users are expecting a follow-up update. Stay tuned!
