Motorola unveiled its new members for its Moto G family which will be the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion. These two phones’ packs tons of similarities as well as distinguishable differences.
When it comes to their screen, these phones sport a 6.8-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phones have HDR10 certification and have an FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, these phones use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G. For its memory configurations, the Moto G60 only has one – 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. On the other hand, the Moto G60 comes with 4-6GB RAM and 64-128GB internal storage.
Another notable difference between the two is its main cameras for its rear. Both phones have triple-camera setups. The Moto G60 will be having a Samsung HM2 108MP as its main shooter while the Moto G40 Fusion will be having a 64MP main camera. As for the other two cameras, both phones will come with identical 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensors. The selfie cameras also differ between the two units. The Moto G60 will be equipped with a 32MP unit while the Moto G40 Fusion will use a 16MP selfie camera.
As for other similarities, both phones will be having a 6,000mAh battery capacity supported by a 20W fast charging. Both units will also be utilizing Android 11 as their OS and will have a water-repellent coating and an audio jack.
The Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion will go on sale in India from April 27 until May 1 at 12 NN. Price for the Moto G60 will be INR 17,999 (₱11,700 est.) and Moto G40 Fusion will cost at INR 13,999 (₱9,100 est.). There will be discounts for ICICI bank card owners of INR 1,000 (₱650 est.) for the Moto G40 Fusion and an INR 1,500 (₱975 est.) discount for the Moto G60. As for international release, announcements will be made soon enough.
