Motorola introduced the Moto G Power 5G (2023) for the US market earlier this year and is now working on the next version, tentatively called the Moto G Power 5G (2024).
Recent CAD renders, as reported by MySmartPrice, offer a detailed look at the device’s design.
Front View
The Moto G Power 5G (2024) features a flat display with a selfie camera cutout positioned in the center. This new model is expected to come with a larger 6.7-inch display, an upgrade from the 6.5-inch LCD panel found on the previous model.
Rear Design
The rear panel showcases a glossy rectangular camera module housing a dual-camera system and an LED flash. The phone boasts a flat frame with volume buttons and a power key equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the right side, and a SIM slot on the left.
Top and Bottom Edges
At the top of the Moto G Power 5G (2024), you’ll find a secondary microphone. On the bottom edge, there’s a 3.5mm audio jack, another microphone, a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and a speaker.
Dimensions
According to the report, the device measures 167.3 x 76.4 x 8.5mm, providing some insight into its physical size. However, the report doesn’t offer details about the phone’s core specifications.
Previous Model
To recap, the Moto G Power 5G (2023) was launched in April of this year. It featured a 6.5-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 930 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of built-in storage.
Running on MyUX-based Android 13, it was powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging. The phone included a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel main camera, along with 2-megapixel depth and macro cameras in its triple camera setup.
