Mislatel as the 3rd major telco is just a few steps away from acquiring the license to operate as well as the frequencies needed to start its services according to Philippine DICT’s acting secretary Rio.
Mr. Rio said Mislatel is on track to get the CPCN or Certificate of Public Convenience by July 8 if all things go right including the submission of the cash bond and required documents.
He also noted that Mislatel, which is backed by Udenna Holdings, Chelsea Holdings, and China Telecom, has started rolling out major infrastructures in key cities like Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao. The 3rd telco is expected to start the services by this year along with the launch of PLDT-Smart and Globe’s 5G rollout.
Mislatel has promised to provide 27Mbps average speed on its first year of operation.
