According to the developer’s announcement, the new build has the identification 22000.526 (KB5010414) and fixes, among other errors in the code, a failure to display the time and date on multiple monitors, in addition to other changes in the taskbar.

The weather and temperature widget, which had been built into the taskbar in Windows 10 and was retired in OS version 11, returns in this update. There’s even a new mute/on feature for Microsoft Teams calls.

It will also be possible to quickly share a specific application or taskbar window directly in a Microsoft Teams call. The update also included a redesign for the Notepad and Media Player apps.

It is worth remembering that, at the moment, the new build is only available to members of the Insider Preview beta program and the expectation is that the changes will be released gradually to all users in the coming weeks.

The company promised a bigger-than-usual update to Windows 11 this month. Many users are still waiting for a public version with Android app support and rumors point to a release soon.
