Microsoft has introduced more than 20 legal tools and new plugins for Copilot to help legal professionals draft, review, and manage documents.
The tools can help users review contracts, suggest edits, track deadlines, conduct legal research, and organize case information.
Copilot can also connect to legal services such as Bloomberg Law, Docusign, Adobe Acrobat Sign, and Harvey through new plugins.

Microsoft said users remain in control of final decisions and must approve proposed edits in Word. The company also said Copilot does not use user prompts, responses, or documents to train its AI models.
The new legal tools are now available to Microsoft Copilot customers worldwide.
