MediaTek has officially launched its latest flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9400+.
The chip is part of the Dimensity 9000 series and uses an All-Big Core design, with one Cortex-X925 core clocked up to 3.73GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores.
This setup is designed to deliver faster performance for both single and multi-core tasks.

For AI, the chip includes the MediaTek NPU 890 and supports various advanced AI features such as Multi-Token Prediction, a mixture of experts, and FP8 inferencing.
MediaTek claims a 20% increase in AI performance with a feature called Speculative Decoding+, plus a built-in Agentic AI Engine to help developers improve how apps use AI.
Regarding graphics, the Immortalis-G925 GPU brings PC-like visuals to mobile gaming.
The chipset also introduces MFRC 2.0+, a frame rate converter that can double the effective frame rate and reduce power usage by up to 40% in supported games.
For photography, the Imagiq 1090 ISP supports HDR video across the full zoom range, with Smooth Zoom for better handling of moving subjects.
