
MediaTek has unveiled its new Filogic 8000 family at CES 2026.
The new series is one of the chipsets designed for the upcoming Wi-Fi 8 standard.
MediaTek claims that the technology is designed to support AI-driven and real-time applications, providing more stable connections, improved bandwidth utilization, and enhanced power efficiency.

Key Wi-Fi 8 features highlighted by MediaTek include enhanced coordination between multiple access points to reduce interference, improved spectrum sharing in congested networks, extended coverage and range, and lower latency for use cases such as XR, cloud gaming, and industrial systems.
