Tesla has showcased its next-generation Roadster, featuring suction fans and cold-gas thrusters that allow the vehicle to perform stunts such as driving upside down, flipping in the air, and briefly flying.
Videos shared on X showed the Roadster performing aerial flips, barrel rolls, and jumps before landing. The vehicle also drove upside down along a ramp using its suction system to generate downforce.

Tesla lists three versions of the Roadster: Performance, Thrust, and Rocket. The Performance version seats two and features active aerodynamics and a suction system. The Thrust version adds rear-mounted thrusters and claims acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under one second. The single-seat Rocket version features thrusters that enable forward and upward acceleration, as well as rotational movement.
According to Tesla, the thrusters use compressed gas rather than combustion or chemical rockets. The company also lists a top speed of over 230 mph (370 km/h) and a range of more than 300 miles (483 km).

The Roadster’s Rocket version is not approved for public road use, and availability depends on local laws and regulations.
