LG is at it again, folks! The latest addition to the V series, the V40, will have an announcement for the upcoming handset on October 3. The event, to be held at New York, will be expected to provide the public with an actual release date.
Additionally, a blog post from the South Korean LG social page shows a second date – October 4. It is slated to happen at the LG Science Park.
As previously announced, it is one of the handsets to have the latest processor from Qualcomm – the Snapdragon 845.
Rumor is that it may contain either 3-5 cameras. While the former is possible, we can only dream of the latter since a huge chunk of consumers rely more on mobile photography than DSLR technology. Expect more news and updates about the smartphone after the event dates.
