Hold your horses, LG V30 is raising the bar for the best smartphone this year as well. Packing the first smartphone to integrate the Dual camera with one lens having a f/1.6 aperture, we could indeed expect some high-end specs from it.
The LG V30 is nearly bezel-free as the Samsung Galaxy S8. The device’s 6-inch screen is set to boast its “plastic OLED FullVision display” as well. Of course, with the sleek design of the device, it is powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset.
One of the new features of the LG V30 is its “floating bar” at the top of the screen. No need to worry since it can be swiped out of the screen when not in use. The floating bar contains shortcuts and notifications from the daily apps that people use.
Another upgrade is the V30’s camera feature, now including f/1.6 aperture lens. The f/1.6 aperture is said to be much better than the f/1.8 in receiving light by 25 percent more. There is no clear camera resolution revealed, but it is confirmed to have a dual-camera system including a wide angle feature.
Nonetheless, the estimated price of the LG V30 is around $700 (P 35,000), which makes it cheaper than its competitors. Yet, the best would still be unknown not until the official announcement comes. Meanwhile, the V30 is expected to be released on August 31 as confirmed on LG’s Facebook page.
Unfortunately, only the specs listed below are confirmed up until now.
