LG Q6 now official: Ultra Wide display, 13MP camera, P11,000 price

Earlier today, LG launched three variations to the new Q6 line-up – the Q6a, Q6, and Q6+. Following after the LG G6, the Q6 also comes with thinner bezels and a huge 18:9 Full HD FullVison display albeit with mid-range specs and cheaper price. And with all three will become available in Asia and the Philippines first.

From the front, the Q6 does look a lot like the LG G6 flagship but turn it on its back and you’ll see the lack of fingerprint sensor under a dual-camera set-up. That’s kind of a letdown, but corners have to be cut for this ‘competitively priced’ device. Nonetheless, upfront you’ll have a 5MP camera with wide angle lens and a 13MP camera at the back.

Inside the aluminum metal frame, the Snapdragon 435 runs the device. A bit underwhelming but light to moderate users, it’ll be perfectly fine. The lack of a fingerprint scanner is compensated by LG’s proprietary Face Recognition and a 3,000mAh battery runs the device.

The only difference between the three variants is a memory and internal storage. Other than that, everything is quite the same.

Pricing has not yet disclosed, but LG states that it will be a ccompetitively priced midrange device, so expect aroud P11,000 to P15,000 pesos in teh Philippines depending on the memory. The LG Q6 will be available in the Asian market by next month and will be followed followed by availability in Europe, Latin America and North America.
